What $1,000/month actually buys you

At 2,500 Rx/month, manual entry needs roughly 1.4 FTE-equivalents of staff time — ~$2,400/month in labour at $20/hr. AutoRx replaces that entry work at $1,000/month.

FAQ

Pricing questions

Expand any answer, or message us if you don't see your case.

What counts as a prescription?

Each Kroll write attempt counts as one prescription — whether it arrives by fax, digital Rx API, or manual upload. Retries on the same prescription do not count again.

What happens if I exceed 2,500 Rx/month on Starter?

We'll reach out before you consistently hit the limit and move you to the right plan together. There are no surprise overage charges on your bill.

Is there a setup or onboarding fee?

No. Onboarding is included in every plan. For Starter, most pharmacies are live within 1–2 weeks. Banner accounts include dedicated onboarding per site at no extra cost.

Are prices in CAD?

Yes. All prices are in Canadian dollars.

What is the contract length?

Monthly subscriptions are available with 30 days notice to cancel. Annual plans are available at a discount — ask during the sales conversation.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes, on a monthly plan. Cancel with 30 days written notice and your subscription ends at the next billing cycle. Your data is available for export before it is deleted.

How quickly does AutoRx pay for itself?

For a pharmacy processing 2,500 Rx/month manually, that is roughly 1.4 FTE-equivalents of data entry time at $20/hr — approximately $2,400/month in labour. AutoRx Starter replaces that at $1,000/month. Most pharmacies recover the cost within the first week of live operation.

Do I need to change my fax number or fax provider?

No. Your existing fax number stays the same. We work with your fax-to-cloud provider to forward inbound faxes to AutoRx. If you do not have a fax-to-cloud provider yet, we can recommend one.

What does onboarding include?

Onboarding covers: Kroll agent installation and connection, fax intake channel setup, a test batch of real prescriptions in review mode, staff walkthrough of the dashboard, and your first week of live operation with our team monitoring alongside you.

Is patient data safe? Where is it stored?

All patient data is stored exclusively in Canadian data centres. AutoRx is PHIPA and PIPEDA compliant by design. Subprocessors, security controls, and audit log access are documented at the Trust Center.

Does AutoRx work with my existing Kroll setup?

AutoRx is purpose-built for Telus Health Kroll. We confirm version compatibility before your go-live. Most active Kroll installations are compatible — we will tell you on the first call.

When should I talk to sales instead of choosing Starter?

Enterprise pricing applies when you need multiple dispensing terminals or sustained volume above 2,500 Rx/month at one site, or when you operate multiple pharmacy locations under one banner or ownership group. We scope the setup on a short call and quote a single package.
